Garrett-Cardaras Funeral Home

The building was built in 1855 for the first Mayor in McArthur and then later became a doctors office. In 1945 Paul E. Wrightsel and his brother-in- law Glenneth Frye opened up Wrightsel Funeral Home and it stayed in existance until 1971 when they sold it to James and Dixie Blower. The Blowers had the funeral home until 1992 when they sold it to Bill and Ann Garrett, with the funeral home then becoming Garrett Funeral Home. The Cardaras Family then took over in April of 2007 making it Garrett-Cardaras Funeral Home.
