Jacqueline Sue Smith

Jacqueline Sue ?Nena? Smith, 57, of The Plains, passed away Friday, December 17, 2004 at Doctors Hospital West, Columbus. She was born March 10th, 1947 in Nelsonville, the daughter of Joe Hazel Burch Sr. of Carbon Hill and the late Betty Hickman Burch.

In addition to her father, she is survived by one son, Curtis Cindy Pancake of Nelsonville; one daughter, Kimberly Jason Lawson Smith of Chauncey; six grandchildren, Joshua Smith, Caleb Lawson, Cheyenne Pancake, Colton Pancake, Leslie Downs and Stephanie Jackson; two brothers, Joe Burch Jr. of Chauncey and Shane Shannon Burch of Carbon Hill; and three sisters, Betty Jo Dave Wachenschwanz, Ginger Stace Mender and Carla Jim Sprott of Jacksonville.

Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, December 21, 2004 at 1:00 P.M. at Souers-Cardaras Funeral Home, 46 Fayette Street Nelsonville with Pastor King Kelly officiating. Interment will be at Greenlawn Cemetery New Addition, Nelsonville. Friends may call Monday from 2-4 P.M. and 6-8 P.M. at the funeral home.
