Lois J. Ayers, 75, of Rockbridge, passed away Tuesday, February 8, 2005, at her residence.
She was born June 10, 1929, in Bartholomew County, Indiana, daughter of the late Earl and Hazel Scott Compton. She was married to Howard G. Ayers of Rockbridge.
In addition to her husband she is survived by a son, Kenneth Earl Linda Ayers of Columbus; a daughter, Jody Dale Miller of Columbus; and four grandchildren.
Private graveside services will be held 11 a.m., Thursday, at New Fairview Memorial Gardens, Rockbridge. No calling hours will be observed. The family is requesting no flowers.
