Kenneth Leewood Scherer Sr.

Kenneth Leewood Scherer Sr., 43, of Nelsonville, passed away, Thursday, September 13, 2007at Doctors Hospital Nelsonville. He was born January 10, 1964 in Columbus,
son of Clark Virginia Scherer of Corning and Wilma Charles Timberlake of Nelsonville.

He is survived by wife, Kelly Buckta; son, Kenneth L. Scherer Jr. of the home; stepson, Cory Ashley Buckta of The Plains; grandson; Cory Buckta Jr.; brother, Kevin Cheri Scherer of Malta; Sister, Sally Bill Shiveley of Malta; step brothers, Charles Timberlake Jr. of Nelsonville, Kelly Krespach of Columbus, Scott Mary Krespach of Indianapolis, IN; step sister, Treon Clay Van Vranken of The Plains; several nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by brothers, Mark A and John D. Scherer.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 P.M., Wednesday, September 19, 2007 at
Souers-Cardaras Funeral Home, 46 Fayette St., Nelsonville with Rev. Mike Thomas officiating. Interment will be at Alexander Cemetery, Albany.
Friends may call Tuesday from 3-7 PM and Wednesday one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
