John Bailey

John Bailey, 64, of Rockbridge, passed away Tuesday, December 4, 2007, at his residence. He was born April 3, 1943 in Logan, son of the late Raymond R. and Betty J. Brooks Bailey. John was married to Barbara Hay Bailey, who survives.

He was a retired truck driver and a Vietnam Army Veteran. John was also a life member of the Logan Moose and Amvets.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by one son, William Kim Duncan of Logan; one daughter, Marty Jamey Harden of Rockbridge and five grandchildren, Ashley Bartow, Allyssa Bailey, Jared Bartow, Chelsie Harden and Rachelle Harden.

John was preceded in death by one brother, Frank Bailey.

A memorial dinner will be held 5 P.M., Thursday, December 6, 2007 at the Logan Amvets, 649 Radio Lane, Logan. Cremation has taken place and no calling hours will be observed. Arrangements are by Cardaras Funeral Home, 183 E. Second St., Logan.
