Kenneth George Ken Heebink

Kenneth George ""Ken"" Heebink, 89, of Logan, passed away Tuesday, July 8, 2008, at the Carlin House in Logan. He was born June 3, 1919, in Baldwin, Wisconsin, son of the late Joseph George and Jessie Van Wyke Heebink. Ken was the widow of the late Virginia Mikesell Heebink, who passed away December 4, 2003.

He was the first resident and unofficial Mayor of the Carlin House. Ken will be remembered as a kind and gentle man and will be missed by his family and friends.

He is survived by a son, Dennis Susan Heebink of Rockbridge; six grandchildren; eight great grandchildren and a sister, Charlotte Lee Towers of Wazetta, Minnesota.

Ken was preceded in death by his daughter, Barbara June Heebink.

Private family services will be held in Turlock, California. No calling hours will be observed. Arrangements are by Cardaras Funeral Home, Logan.
