George T. Nichols
August 11, 1930 — December 11, 2008
George T. Nichols, 78, of Londonderry was found December 10, 2008. He was born August 11, 1930 in Vinton County son of the late Frank and Clara Nichols. George was the widower of the late Evelyn L. Nichols.
He retired from Austin Powder.
George is survived by four sons, Oakley R. Rebecca S. Nichols of Londonderry, Harold L. Nichols of Chillicothe, Leland ""John"" Nichols of Londonderry and Danny T. Lisa Nichols of Columbus; a daughter, Susan D. Victor Knight of Londonderry; thirteen grandchildren; thirty eight, great grandchildren and a brother, Delbert Nichols of Lancaster.
In addition to his parents and wife, he was preceded in death by two grandchildren, one great grandchild and three brothers.
Graveside services will be held 1 P.M., Sunday, December 14, 2008 in McGee Cemetery, Eagle Township. No calling hours will be observed. Arrangements are by Garrett-Cardaras Funeral Home, 201 W. High St., McArthur.
