Uriah D. Le

Uriah D. Le, 20, of Nelsonville, passed away Wednesday, August 19, 2009 at Select Specialty Hospital in Columbus. He was born August 25, 1988, in Athens, son of Phu D. Le of Belpre and Christine Smith Nelson of Chauncey.

He formerly worked at the Athens Messenger.

In addition to his parents, Uriah is survived by grandparents, Joyce Smith of Nelsonville and Edward and Mandy Smith of Nelsonville; great grandmother, Nellie Trout of McArthur; stepmother, Samantha C. Le of Belpre; an uncle, Butchie Smith of Nelsonville; brothers, Zachary J. Le of Nelsonville, Christopher R. Nelson of Ft. Lewis, Washington, Jamie P. Le of Lima and Andrew C. Le of Belpre and sisters, Athena N. Le of Montgomery, Alabama and Sheyenne C. Le of Belpre.

Funeral services will be held 10 A.M., Monday, August 24, 2009 in the Souers-Cardaras Funeral Home, 46 Fayette St., Nelsonville. Interment will be in Whitmore Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home on Sunday, from 6-8 P.M.
