Orbie Bradley

Orbie Bradley, 84, of McArthur, passed away Tuesday, March 29, 2011 at Twin Maples Nursing Home in McArthur. She was born February 16, 1927 in Floyd County, Kentucky, daughter of the late William T. and Darsie A. Ousley Owsley. Orbie was married for 52 years to the late Alex Bradley.

She was a member of Maggie's Home Church.

Orbie is survived by her son, Wayne Connie Bradley of McArthur; a daughter, Connie David McWilliams of Wellston; grandchildren, Wesley Stone, Melina Musick, Pamela Funk, Eugene Jackson, Tim McWilliams, Michael Wheatcraft and Chris Bradley; several great grandchildren; a brother, Berlin Edith Owsley of Jackson and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by her daughter, Juanita Faye Wheatcraft; granddaughters, April Beth Stone and Sarah Ellen McWilliams; a brother, Lonnie Owsley and an infant sister, Myrtle Owsley.

Funeral services will be held 11 A.M., Friday, April 1, 2011 in the Garrett-Cardaras Funeral Home, 201 W. High St., McArthur, with Elder Donald Mullins officiating. Interment will be in Mt. Olive Cemetery, Vinton County. Friends may call at the funeral home on Thursday, from 5-8 P.M.
