Garry M. Roister

Garry M. Roister, 56, of Londonderry, passed away Sunday, October 23, 2011 at Adena Regional Medical Center in Chillicothe. He was born July 4, 1955 in Ross County, son of the late Samuel and Geneva Sparks Roister. Garry was married to Marcella Stevens Roister, who survives.

He was a mechanic at Ernie's Foreign Salvage in Chillicothe.

Garry is survived by a daughter, Angel Chris Gore; stepchildren, Pam Davis, Debi Speakman, Lawrence Davis Jr. ""Sam"" and Jesse ""Jay"" Davis; six grandchildren, Dakota Farmer, Cherokee Farmer, Reno Farmer, Duane Speakman Jr., Amanda Rossiter and Dustin Michael Rossiter; great grandchildren, Traceson Farmer, Claire Marie Kellough, Natalie Osborne, Duane Speakman III and Brailynn Speakman; sisters, Diane Bill Waugh, Debbie Wagner and Pam Joe Current and sisters-in-law, Cathy Roister and Connie Rooker.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers, Larry and David Roister and a special granddaughter, Dreams Speakman Kellough.

Funeral services will be held 1 P.M., Sunday, October 30, 2011 in the Chestnut Grove Church, Vinton County, with Rev. Tommy ""Bud"" Stevens officiating. Interment will be in Chestnut Grove Cemetery, Vinton County. Friends may call at the Garrett-Cardaras Funeral Home, 201 W. High St., McArthur, on Saturday, from 6-8 P.M. and on Sunday, one hour prior to the services at the church.
