Elizabeth E. Newman

Elizabeth E. Newman, 61 of Rockbridge, passed away Wednesday, May 2, 2012 at Logan Health Care Center. She was born May 2, 1951 in Nelsonville, daughter of the late George A. and Vera H. Shafer Newman.

Elizabeth is survived by her brother, George W. ""Bill"" Sue Newman of Rockbridge; nieces, Amy Grant Volquardsen of Logan and Erica D. Troy Gill Newman of Mt. Sterling, Ohio and a nephew, George D. Sonja Newman of Oxnard, California.

Funeral services will be held 11 A.M., Saturday, May 5, 2012 in the Souers-Cardaras Funeral Home, 46 Fayette St., Nelsonville, with Rev. Paul Taylor officiating. Interment will be in Greenlawn Cemetery, Nelsonville. Friends may call at the funeral home on Friday from 6-8 P.M.
