Sandra Kay Burley

Sandra Kay Burley, 63, of Nelsonville, passed away Friday, August 3, 2012 at her residence. She was born May 17, 1949 in Longstreth, the daughter of the late Glenn and Erma Mae Blackstone Murphy.

Sandee is survived by her children, Jason Stephanie Burley, Kelly Eddie Chilcote and Chase Starner all of Nelsonville; grandchildren, Kayla Tyler Tignor of Buchtel, Kaycie Burley of Buchtel and Kimberly Burley of Nelsonville; great granddaughter, Adysen and two more on the way; brother, Chuck Sandy Pyett of Nelsonville; sister Sharon Neil Allen of Nelsonville; longtime friend, Pete Starner of Nelsonville.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by brothers, Jessie ""Junior"" Pyett and Sonny Stover and longtime friend and companion, Tom Dean.

A funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM, Wednesday, August 8, 2012 at Souers-Cardaras Funeral Home, 46 Fayette St, Nelsonville with Rev. King Kelly officiating. Interment will be at Greenlawn Cemetery New Addition, Nelsonville. Friends may call Tuesday from 4-8 PM at the funeral home.
