David Alan Cottrill

David Alan Cottrill, 48, of Hamden, passed away Tuesday, September 11, 2012 at his residence. He was born September 8, 1964 in Chillicothe, son of Carol A. Salts Cottrill of Hamden and the late Clyde Andrew Cottrill.

David was a financial planner and owned Exact Excavating Company.

He is survived by his brother, Curtis (Suzanne) Cottrill of Hamden; his niece, Samantha Cottrill and his best buddies, Oscar and Katie.

In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by his grandparents, Ottie and Dena Cassill Salts and Ronald and Mary Camp Cottrill.

Funeral services will be held 10 A.M., Tuesday, September 18, 2012 in the Garrett-Cardaras Funeral Home, 201 W. High St., McArthur, with Rev. Rodney Rogers officiating. Interment will be in Elk Cemetery, McArthur. Friends may call at the funeral home on Monday, from 4-8 P.M.
