Valda Jo Patton Friley

Valda Jo Patton Friley, 72, of Pleasantville, passed away Tuesday, April 2, 2013 at Winchester Place and Rehabilitation Center in Cancal Winchester. She was born January 25, 1941 in Vinton County, daughter of the late Archie and Ada Ousley Patton. Valda was married to Daniel Friley, who survives.

She was a retired Real Estate Agent.

Valda is survived by her sons, Kevin Perry of Columbus; Richard Perry of Cincinnati; a daughter, Teresa Sowards of Lancaster; two grandchildren; two great grandchildren; a sister, Wanda Wallace of Texas and a sister-in-law, Kathleen Patton of Logan.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Charles Patton and sisters, Phyllis Crow and Marta Reed.

Graveside services will be held 1 P.M., Friday, April 5, 2013 in Elk Cemetery, McArthur, with Rev. Jerry Griffith Jr. officiating. No calling hours will be observed. Arrangements are by Garrett-Cardaras Funeral Home, 201 W. High St., McArthur.
