Catherine L. Cockrill

Catherine L. Cockrill, 85, of The Plains, passed away Saturday, July 13, 2013 at her residence. She was born November 3, 1927 in North Hampton, Illinois, the daughter of the late John B. and Celia A Mooney Boylan. She was married to Hugh Cockrill of The Plains, for 66 years.

In addition to her husband, Catherine is survived by a daughter, Carol Cockrill of Athens; a grandson, David Cockrill of The Plains and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by four brothers and three sisters.

Mrs. Cockrill’s wishes were to be cremated. A memorial service will be held at a later date. Arrangements are by Souers-Cardaras Funeral Home, 46 Fayette St, Nelsonville.
