Frederick A. Herner Jr.

Frederick A. Herner Jr., 49, of Athens, passed away Friday, July 26, 2013 in Vinton County. He was born January 11, 1964 in Sandusky, Ohio, son of Frederick A. Herner Sr. of Willard, Ohio and Linda Jenkins Herner of Athens. Frederick was married to the late Ramona Joslin Herner.

He was employed at Ohio University and had a Masters Degree from Kent State University. Fred was an avid golfer.

In addition to his parents, Frederick is survived by his sons, Michael Thomas Herner and Matthew David Herner, both of Athens and a brother, Timothy S. Herner of Willard.

Services will be held at a later date and no calling hours will be observed. Arrangements are by Souers-Cardaras Funeral Home, 46 Fayette St., Nelsonville.
