Eleanor M. Betts, 69, of McArthur, passed away Tuesday, November 26, 2013 at Adena Regional Medical Center in Chillicothe. She was born February 24, 1944 in Hocking County, daughter of the late Clyde and Frieda Lively Robinson. Eleanor was the widow of the late Cluster “Buck” Betts.

She formerly worked at Lees Steakhouse in Wellston. Eleanor enjoyed attending yard sales, feeding the birds and spending time with her family.

Eleanor is survived by her sons, David (Bonnie) Betts and Michael (Mary) Betts, both of McArthur; daughters, Janie (Don Hamilton) Betts of McArthur and Tammy (Dan) Wine of South Bloomingville; grandchildren, James Coleman, Jessica Coleman, Emily Salyer, Adam Betts, Chrissy Betts, Skylar Betts, Tiffany Wine, Daniel Wine Jr. and Jake Hamilton; five step grandchildren; two great grandchildren, Regan Clemons and Landon Coleman; brothers, Ernie (Rose) Robinson of Circleville and Robert (Sharon) Robinson of South Perry.; sisters, Mary Murphy of Columbus, Charlotte (Leroy) Graham of Laurelville, Shirley Robinson of Londonderry and Alice Dillie of Londonderry; several nieces and nephews and her pet Roscoe.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by her infant sister and brother, Paul Krago.

Funeral services will be held 10 A.M., Saturday, November 30, 2013 in the Garrett-Cardaras Funeral Home, 201 W. High St., McArthur, with Rev. Jim Wine and Rev. Jim McFadden officiating. Interment will be in McGee Cemetery, Eagle Township. Friends may call at the funeral home on Friday from 2-8 P.M.
