Mildred C. Rawlins, 84, of Lancaster, formerly of Logan, passed away Friday, December 13, 2013 at The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center in Columbus. She was born August 23, 1929 in Junction City, Ohio, daughter of the late Denver and Eva Sinclair Guisinger.
Mildred was employed at various restaurants in the area, including Blosser’s Restaurant in Logan and Todd’s Mountain View Restaurant in Lancaster.
She is survived by her sons, Jeff (Jennifer) Malone and William (Kelly) Rawlins, both of Logan; grandchildren, Kendra Gottke, Deirdre Rawlins, Celina Malone and Michael Vandegriff; a great grandchild, Blake; brothers, Harold Guisinger of Glouster and Mike Guisinger of New Straitsville; sisters, Lila Jean Schein of Logan, Barbara Wilson of Lancaster and Frances Diehl of Logan and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, Mildred was preceded in death by her son, Kenneth Gottke; brothers, Joe, James, Bob and Charles Guisinger; sister, Rita Catherine Guisinger and former husband, Grover Rawlins.
Funeral services will be held 10 A.M., Wednesday, December 18, 2013 in the Cardaras Funeral Home, 183 E. Second St., Logan, with Rev. Ernest Malone officiating. Interment will be in Mt. Calvary Cemetery, New Straitsville. Friends may call at the funeral home on Tuesday, from 6-8 P.M.
