Amanda "Mandy" L. Morgan

Amanda “Mandy” L. Morgan, 89, of McArthur, passed away Wednesday, January 22, 2014 at her residence. She was born October 17, 1924 in Mousie, Kentucky, daughter of the late James William “Willy” and Elizabeth Salyers Lee. Mandy was the widow of the late William “Bill” Morgan.

She retired from Goodyear in Logan, was a member of Prattsville Community Church and was a former member of the Vinton County Senior Citizens Center.

Mandy is survived by her sons, Bruce (Judy) Morgan of Coolville and Kevin (Jennifer) Morgan of McArthur; daughter, Susan Jividen of McArthur; eight grandchildren, Amy, Beth, Dirk, Melissa, Zachary, Chad, Terry and April; several great grandchildren and a sister, Ethel Lee of Mansfield.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by her son, Steve Morgan; seven brothers and one sister.

Funeral services will be held 12 P.M., Monday, January 27, 2014 in the Prattsville Community Church, 69396 Prattsville Rd., McArthur, with Pastor Donald Lamb officiating. Interment will be in Elk Cemetery, McArthur. Friends may call Monday, at the Prattsville Community Church from 10 A.M. until the time of the service.
