Ray E. Seitz Sr.

Ray E. Seitz Sr., 74, of McArthur, passed away Friday, February 21, 2014 at his residence. He was born May 16, 1939 in Vinton County, son of the late Chester Ray and Ruth Mae Inboden Seitz Sr.

Ray retired from the Vinton County Highway Department and attended the Wellston Church of God.

He is survived by his son, Ray E. (Teresa) Seitz Jr. of McArthur; daughters, Kim Seitz of McArthur and Sharon Seitz of Grove City; grandchildren, Deana, Katrina and Cody; three great grandchildren; brothers, Chester (Sandy) Seitz, Roy Seitz and Melvin (Alice) Seitz all of McArthur; a sister, Vivian (Rocky) Whightsel of McArthur and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, Ray was preceded in death by an infant son.

Funeral services will be held 11 A.M., Tuesday, February 25, 2014 in the Garrett-Cardaras Funeral Home, 201 W. High St., McArthur, with Rev. Berry Benson officiating. Interment will be in Mt. Olive Cemetery, Vinton County. Friends may call at the funeral home on Monday, from 6-8 P.M.
