Ruth Peck

Ruth Peck, 98, of Logan, passed away Sunday, March 16, 2014 at Arcadia Acres Nursing Home in Logan. She was born September 19, 1915 in Woodsfield, Ohio, daughter of the late John and Pearl Conger Dougherty.   Ruth was the widow of the late John O. Peck.

She is survived by her daughters, Ruth Lennox of Columbus, Jackie Whitt of Texas, Brenda Hatfield of Waverly, Vicki Chesser of Logan and Connie (Kelly) Souders of Logan; twenty-three grandchildren; several great grandchildren and several great great grandchildren.

In addition to her parents and husband, Ruth was preceded in death by her daughters, Sandy Stewart and Christine Richards; two brothers and two sisters.

Funeral services will be held 11 A.M., Wednesday, March 19, 2014 in the Cardaras Funeral Home, 183 E. Second St., Logan, with Kelly Zirkle officiating. Interment will be in Oak Grove Cemetery, Logan. Friends may call at the funeral home on Wednesday, from 10 A.M. until the time of the service.
