Anna Mae McCray, 95, of New Marshfield, passed away Monday, September 8, 2014 at her residence. She was born March 3, 1919 in Zaleski, daughter of the late Walter T and Cora Ward Zimmerman. She is the widow of the late Robert Sherman McCray.
She is survived by her son, Tom McCray of New Marshfield; 8 grandchildren; several great grandchildren and a special friend and caregiver, Betty Boyd.
In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by a son, Roy Eugene McCray and a daughter, Carol Ann Zimmerman; 4 brothers and 2 sisters.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00 PM, Thursday, September 11, 2014 at Souers-Cardaras Funeral Home, 46 Fayette St., Nelsonville with Pastor Craig Holler officiating. Cremation will follow. Friends may call Wednesday, from 6-8 PM and Thursday, one hour prior to service, at the funeral home.
