Ruth E. Woods
June 4, 1933 — July 1, 2015
Ruth E. Woods, 82, of Columbus, passed away Wednesday, July 1, 2015 at her residence. She was born June 4, 1933 in Lawrence County, Ohio, daughter of the late Elwood and Carmon Thompson Holley.
Ruth is survived by her son, Roger (Tina) Woods of Columbus; daughters, Linda Siders of Grove City and Patty (Steve) Jeffers of Coolville; fourteen grandchildren; fourteen great grandchildren and two sisters, Mary Alice and Wuanita.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son, Ernest Eugene Woods.
Funeral services will be held 12 p.m., Friday, July 3, 2105 in the Garrett-Cardaras Funeral Home, 201 W. High St., McArthur, with Pastor Jay Hubbard officiating. Interment will be in Asbury Cemetery, Hocking County. Friends may call at the funeral home on Friday, one hour prior to the service.
