Medrith Dawn Mace

Medrith Dawn Mace, 91, of McArthur, passed away Wednesday, January 27, 2016 at Four Winds Nursing Facility in Jackson. She was born May 19, 1924 in Vinton County, daughter of the late Lias and Angie Lightfoot Perry. Medrith was the widow of the late Cecil D. Mace.

She was a member of Putnam Chapel House of Prayer and was a very loving mother, grandmother and sister.

Medrith is survived by her son, Roger D. (Mary James) Mace of McArthur; five grandchildren; several great grandchildren; several great great grandchildren and a brother, Raymond Perry of Circleville.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by her daughter, Marilyn Partee; brothers, Glen and Sherwood Perry and sisters, Bessie Cottrill, Mildred Dickson, Velma Davis, Kathleen Ayera, Vera Perry and Lucille Allen.

Funeral services will be held 11 a.m., Tuesday, February 2, 2016 in the Garrett-Cardaras Funeral Home, 201 W. High St., McArthur, with Harrison Starr officiating. Interment will be in Elk Cemetery, McArthur. Friends may call at the funeral home on Monday, from 6-8 p.m.
