Anita Joyce Haning, 61, of The Plains, passed away Thursday, June 2, 2016 at Riverside Methodist Hospital in Columbus. She was born October 13, 1954 in Nelsonville, daughter of the late Clyde Morris and Alberta Gail Brickles Haning.
Anita is survived by her sons, Dar Whitlatch of Chauncey and Trey Whitlatch of The Plains and her brother Courtney (Nina) Haning of New Lexington.
A celebration of life service will be held at a later date. Arrangements are by Souers-Cardaras Funeral Home, 46 Fayette St., Nelsonville.
