Arlen Randall Wolfe

Arlen Randall “Wolfie” Wolfe, 73, of Logan, passed away peacefully on July 26, 2026. He was born on December 4, 1952, in Lancaster, Ohio, to Glenford and Gertrude “Gertie” Wolfe. He was preceded in death by his parents, Glenford and Gertrude Wolfe.

Arlen proudly served his country in the United States Army and the Ohio National Guard for more than 30 years. His dedication, discipline, and love for his country reflected the same commitment he showed to his family throughout his life.

Above all else, Arlen was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather. He worked tirelessly from sunup to sundown to provide for the people he loved, always putting his family’s needs before his own. He raised a blended family and took great pride in each of his children: Julie, Chad, Angie, Mandy, Lacey, Shana, and Joel.

He was a man who enjoyed life’s simple pleasures. Whether he was woodworking, working on cars, playing games with family and friends, or spending hours pitching horseshoes, Arlen found joy in every moment. He had a deep love for animals and treasured the time he spent on the water, fishing from his boats with his children and grandchildren. He was also known for sharing his favorite racing story about the day he threw the shifter through the back window of his car, a tale that never failed to bring smiles and laughter.

Arlen leaves behind a loving family who will forever cherish his memory, including his children, Julie Giffin, Chad Wolfe, Angela (Tony) Pinkstock, Joel Wolfe, Lacey Vincent, Shana McGhee, and Mandy McGrath; his grandchildren, Hannah, Haleigh, Hallery, Harmoni, Brittany, Chad, Dakota, Zachary, Gracie, Danae, Madison, Sophie, Conner, Michael, Megan; as well as many great grandchildren; great great grandchildren; brother, Erwin (Judy) Wolfe of Logan; special cousin, Brenda; extended family members; and countless friends whose lives were touched by his kindness, hard work, and sense of humor.

Family and friends are invited to celebrate Arlen’s life at 11:00 am on Wednesday, August 5, 2026, at Ebenezer Baptist Church, 6935 Township Rd 234, Logan, with Pastor Steve Hubbard officiating. Interment will be in Ebenezer Baptist Church Cemetery, Logan. Family and friends may visit, at Ebenezer Baptist Church, from 2 to 4 pm and 6 to 8 pm, Tuesday. Arrangements are with the Cardaras Funeral Home, 183 E. Second St, Logan.

Though he will be deeply missed, Arlen’s legacy of love, hard work, service, and devotion to family will live on in the hearts of all who knew him.
