Bonnie V. Mace

Bonnie Mace, 74, of Pomeroy, formerly of Nelsonville, passed away on Wednesday, April 8, 2026. She was born on March 2, 1952, in Nelsonville, the daughter of the late Lloyd “Tucker” and Pearl Marjorie (Stover) Mace. She was married to David Lawson.

Bonnie is survived by her husband, David of Pomeroy; a granddaughter; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Bonnie was preceded in death by her parents; sons, Greggory “Bubba” Simms and Jason Simms; and brothers, Steve (Brenda) Mace Sr. and John (Ruby) Mace.

No services will be held at this time. Burial will be at a later date in Athens Memory Gardens, Athens. Arrangements are with the Souers Cardaras Funeral Home, 46 Fayette St, Nelsonville.
