Carol Ann Knight

Carol Ann Knight, age 76, of The Plains, Ohio, passed away on Sunday, August 23, 2026, at O’Bleness Hospital in Athens. Born May 16, 1950, in Athens, Carol was the daughter of the late James Albert Knight and Ila Marie (Ketzenbach) Knight-Jenkins.

Carol worked for many years at Athens Station and Club 33, where she built many lasting friendships. She enjoyed crafting of all kinds. Above all, Carol cherished her family and the quality time spent with those she loved.

Carol is survived by her son, Jeff Knight; sister, Judy Croucher; special grandchildren, Scott Domsher and Nick (Kaitlin) Domsher; special great-grandchildren, Braelyn and Bryson Domsher; nieces and nephews, Dorothy (Jon) Roemer, John Croucher, Michael Croucher, Chris Forsythe, David Forsythe, and Dee (Don) Douglas; and her great-nephew, John Croucher Jr.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her two sisters, Jane Cox and Linda Forsythe.

Honoring Carol's wishes, no services will be held at this time. Arrangements are under the direction of the Souers-Cardaras Funeral Home, 46 Fayette St, Nelsonville.
