Carol Irene Moore

Due to winter weather conditions, funeral services have been rescheduled to Wednesday, February 11, 2026 at 1:00 pm. Visitation will be on Wednesday from 11 am until the time of the service. 

Carol Irene (Collins) Moore, 86, of McArthur, Ohio passed away on January 31, 2026.

Carol was born on September 15, 1939 in Floyd County, Kentucky, to Chester and Minnie (Conley) Collins.

Carol graduated from McArthur High School and worked in retail sales at several McArthur businesses as a salesperson and manager.

Carol was preceded in death by her parents; two brothers, Eugene Collins and James Collins; and her older sister, Anna (Collins) Johnson.

She is survived by her husband of 43 years, Ralph Moore; two daughters, Kristie (Robert) Wintle and Michelle Moore; 4 grandchildren, Zachary (Autumn) Donahoe, Denisha (Cody) McDaniel, Jay Bethel, and Hannah (Austin) Wintle; great granddaughter, Alyson; and several nieces and nephews. She is also survived by her sister, Bonnie Swango, and sister-in- law, Marsha Collins.

Carol will be fondly remembered for her compassion and love by numerous other family members and friends.

A funeral service will be held at 1:00 pm on Wednesday, February 11, 2026, in the Garrett-Cardaras Funeral Home, 201 W. High St., McArthur, with Rev. Jim Griffith and Rev. Rich Moore officiating. Burial will be in Conley Cemetery, Creola. Visitation will be held Wednesday, from 11 am until the time of the service.
