Carolyn Sue Cheeseman

Carolyn Sue Cheeseman, 84 of Nelsonville, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Monday, June 16, 2025, after a short stay at the Pickering House. She was born on October 27, 1940, in Lancaster, the daughter of the late Garnet (Dixon) Harmon.

Sue retired after 17 years with Goodyear. She loved and enjoyed her grandchildren. She was a long-time resident of Kimberly Meadows where she had many friends. Sue also attended the Nazarene Church in her younger years.

Sue is survived by her daughters, Ginny (Rob) Thompson of Florida and Kimberly (Willard) Burns of Corning; sons, Terry Cheeseman of New Straitsville and John (Sara) Cheeseman of Nelsonville; grandchildren, Richard (Tamara) Chambers, Vincin (Ashley) Chambers, Joshua Chambers, Joey and Scotty Thompson, Joshua (Amanda) Weeks, Thomas Weeks, Jon Weeks, John (Erin) Cheeseman Jr., Dillon Cheeseman, and Talia Cheeseman; and 19 great grandchildren.

Sue was preceded in death by her mom, Garnet.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am, Tuesday, June 24, 2025, at the Souers-Cardaras Funeral Home, 46 Fayette St, Nelsonville, with Pastor Ed True officiating. Interment will be in the Dixon Family Cemetery, Hocking County. Friends may visit from 6 to 8 pm Monday at the funeral home.
