Carolyn Victoria "Vikki" Goss

Carolyn Victoria “Vikki” Goss, 76, of Nelsonville, passed away at her home on Tuesday, September 1, 2026. Vikki was born on May 2, 1950, in Cincinnati, the daughter of the late Harry Henry and Carolyn June (Pritchard) Oliver.

She worked for many years at the Nelsonville VFW Post # 3467. Vikki was ornery, would light up any room, and was always the life of the party.

Vikki is survived by her daughters, Tracy (Jayson) Finnearty, Angela (Michael Cope) Van Sickle, and Autumn (Isaac) Taylor-Butcher; grandchildren, Makayla, Chelsea (Casey), Sydney (Zak), Elijah (Gianni), Kylah (Mark), Dereck, and Zach; great grandchildren, Logan, Otto, Everlee, Weston, Silas, Malakai, Devon, Lilly, Trevor, and Jack; sister, Sandy (John) Petrie; best friend, Gary Bowens; and many other family and friends.

Vikki was preceded in death by her parents; husbands, Bane Goss and Roger Taylor; and grandson, Ian Taylor.

A memorial service will be held at 2:00 pm on Saturday, September 12, 2026, at the Souers Cardaras Funeral Home, 46 Fayette St, Nelsonville, with Pastors Rob and Jamie Cable officiating. Friends and family may visit from 1 to 2 pm Saturday at the funeral home. A celebration of Vikki’s life will follow at the Nelsonville VFW Post #3467, 216 Lake Hope Dr, Nelsonville.
