Cecil Duane Craig

With heavy hearts and deep love, we announce the peaceful passing of Cecil Duane Craig on June 7, 2025, at the age of 74. Cecil was born on April 30, 1951, in McArthur, the son of the late Earl and Marguerite (Castor) Craig. He was married for 25 years to the late Sherry (Denney) Craig. He will be forever remembered for his witty personality and his love of fast cars and the Ohio State Buckeyes.

He is survived by his children, Kevin (Kim) Craig and Jessi Guess; stepsons, Timm (Kelly) Woodgeard and Shawn Woodgeard; 13 Grandchildren; and sister Peg Randazzio, all of whom brought him endless joy. Cecil was preceded in death by his best friend and wife Sherry Craig; his parents; and his brother, Melvin Curtis Craig.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 pm on Friday, June 13, 2025, at the Garrett-Cardaras Funeral Home, 201 W. High St, McArthur, with Pastor Danny Minton officiating. Interment will be in Bell Cemetery, Vinton County. Friends may visit from 5 to 8 pm Thursday at the funeral home. The family encourages everyone to wear their Ohio State gear as a tribute to Cecil's love of the team.
