Charlene Williams-Bruss

Charlene Williams-Bruss, 63, of Logan, passed away on Saturday, September 27, 2025, at the Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center in Columbus. She was born on September 6, 1962, in Chillicothe, the daughter of the late Ralph and Loraine (Hamilton) Williams.

Charlene always put her family first. She adored her kids and grandkids. Charlene’s work with TASC of Southeast Ohio allowed her to help many people in the community, but her caring nature extended far beyond her job. She may have been stubborn, but that was just another reason to love her. Charlene was ready to join her parents and Bryce, and is surely enjoying some turtle brownies right now.

Charlene is survived by her daughters, Trisha (Derek) Boch, Misty (Woody Deible) Patton, and Ashley (Jay Hamilton) Gilbert; grandchildren, Lexi (Trey), Gabby, Austin, Brayden, Kaiden (Zoe), Brooke, Maci, Bently, Will, Kylie (Jordan), Colten, Mason, and Easton; great-grandchildren, Kayce, Owen, Noah, and Kylynn; brother, Tim (Amy) Williams; sisters, Cheree Rogers and Tina (Kevan) Edwards; nieces and nephews, Stausha, Ryan, Linsey, Nicki, Nate, Dylan, Derek, and Sammy; and good friend, Diane Martin.

She was preceded in death by her parents; brother-in-law, Dick Rogers; and nephew, Bryce.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 pm on Friday, October 3, 2025, at the Cardaras Funeral Home, 183 E. Second St., Logan, with Kevan Edwards officiating. Interment will be in New Fairview Cemetery, Rockbridge. Friends may visit from 5 pm to 7pm on Thursday and one hour prior to the service on Friday, at the funeral home.
