Christina Drew Kennard Andrews, passed away peacefully at OhioHealth O’Bleness Memorial Hospital on Sunda, July 5, 2026. She was born January 11, 1938, in Carbondale, Ohio, daughter of the late Denver Kennard and Garnet Robinson Kennard Hawkins.

Raised in Carbondale, Ohio, with the held of her beloved grandparents, David and Nora Mace Kennard, Christina graduated from Waterloo High School in 1956 and married Clyde Andrews on May 15, 1958. They had three boys, Tim, Keith and Scott. Christina lived in Nelsonville for over 55 years, worked at Goodyear for 34 years and was a member of the Ohio East Star Albany Chapter 558 for over 70 years.

She loved to travel, socialize, celebrate holidays with family and share stories about her life and upbringing in the busy little coal-mining town of Carbondale. She was hard-working and fiercely independent. She made the best noodles and cookies. Her family was her pride and joy, and she will be deeply missed.

She is survived by her three sons, Tim (Carla), Keith (Becky) and Scott (Terri); ten grandchildren, Amanda, Chrissy, Ryan, Alex, Levi, Wyatt, Lindsey, Jake, Rachael and Silas; nine great grandchildren, Izzy, Rowan, Ember, Jackson, Emma, Watson, Bohdi, Ross and Leander. She is also survived by her brother, Denver; sisters, Kay and Terra and many close cousins, nieces and nephews.

Christina was preceded in death by her ex-husband, Clyde Andrews; parents, Denver and Garnet; her grandparents, David and Nora and her beloved aunt, Betty Kennard Thommpson.

Christina’s wishes were to be cremated with no services. Arrangements are by Souers-Cardaras Funeral Home, 46 Fayette St., Nelsonville.
