Christine Lynne Hysell

Christine Lynne Hysell, 54, of Athens, passed away Tuesday, February 7, 2024, at her residence.  She was born April 25, 1969, in Akron, Ohio, daughter of James F. and Patricia Ann Mains Hysell of McArthur.

She was a photographer, a member of the Athens Photographic Project and a member of the Albany Baptist Church.  Christine enjoyed calligraphy writing, reading books, including comic books, watching old movies, old country music, traveling and animals of all kinds, especially horses.

In addition to her parents, she is survived by her sisters, Brandi (Floyd “Les”) Warth of McArthur and Kandi Hysell of Logan; brother, Jim (Missy) Hysell of Rutland; nieces and nephews, Wyatt (Jill) Hysell, Shayla Hysell, Skylar (Dean) Jordan, Jerrika (William) Duvall, Marrisa (Ben) Kuhn and Quinton Warth; great niece, Nova Jorda and great nephews, Wesson Jordan and Adian Hysell.

A celebration of life will be held at 4 p.m., Friday, March 1, 2024, at the Albany Baptist Church, 5331 State St., Albany, Ohio 45710, with Pastor Carl Prokop officiating.  Memorial visitation will be held on Friday, March 1, 2024, one hour prior to the service.

Arrangements are by Garrett-Cardaras Funeral Home, 201 W. High St., McArthur.
