Coletta Marie Stump

Coletta Marie Stump, 87, of Logan, passed away on Thursday, June 12, 2025, at the Pickering House in Lancaster. She was born on July 5, 1937, daughter of the late Ralph K. and Garnet (Parks) Poling. She was married to the late James C. Stump.

Coletta was loving mom and grandma. She was a 1956 graduate of Logan High School and was a member of Pleasant Hill United Methodist Church.

Coletta is survived by her daughter, Linda (Art) Potter of Groveport; grandchildren, Brian (Sarah) Potter of Westerville and J.R. Potter of Groveport; great grandchildren, A.J. Potter and Mia Potter; sisters in law, Rose Poling, Angelike Stump, Ruth Stump, Katherine Schrader, Joyce Frasure, and Lavonna Blankenship; and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, James; son, David Stump; brothers, John (Carolyn) Poling, Paul Poling, and Larry Poling; sisters in law, Betty Yates, Opal Nutter, and Helen Fiume; and brothers in law, George Stump and Merle Stump Jr.

A memorial service will be held at 11:00 am on Saturday, June 28, 2025, at the Cardaras Funeral Home, 183 E. Second St., Logan. Friends may visit from 10 to 11 am Saturday at the funeral home.
