Dianne Alice Alford

Dianne Alice Alford, 75, of Logan, passed away on Sunday, July 13, 2025, surrounded by family at her home. She was born on May 18, 1950, in Wahpeton, North Dakota, the daughter of the late Albert and Alice (Wolters) Pinney. Dianne shared 57 years of marriage with her beloved husband, Walter “Butch” Alford, who survives.

Dianne was a 1968 graduate of Zaleski High School. She enjoyed spending time crafting and gardening, and loved to collect baskets and purses. Dianne adored her grandkids, especially watching them play sports.

Dianne is survived by her husband, Butch; daughters, Crescent (Rick) Rooker and Shannon (Donnie Gill) Alford; sons, Devin (Carrie) Alford and Jerrod (Heather) Alford, all of Logan; grandchildren, Cymon Rooker, Addyson Rooker, Bryce Alford, Cayden Alford, Blake Alford, Hadley Alford, Kaleigh Alford, Macie Alford, and Talen Alford; great-grandchildren, Iris Lynn Matheny, Murphy James Matheny, and soon to arrive Sutton May Conley; brother, William A. (Diana) Pinney; sister, Karla (Jim) Mace; and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; sister, Linda Zinn; brother-in-law, Mike Zinn; nephew, Brandon Zinn; and niece, Emily Pinney.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 pm on Thursday, July 17, 2025, at the Cardaras Funeral Home, 183 E. Second St, Logan, with Chaplain Sue Duve officiating. Interment will be in Keeton Cemetery, Vinton County. Friends may visit from 6 to 8 pm Wednesday and 12 to 2 pm Thursday at the funeral home.
