Dolores Faye Azbell

Dolores Faye Azbell, 67, of Baltimore, passed away on Saturday, May 10, 2025, at the Pickering House in Lancaster. Dolores was born on February 14, 1958, in Nelsonville, the daughter of the late Charles and Ellen (Shultz) Ringhiser. She was married for 28 years to her loving husband Daniel L. Azbell, who survives.

Dolores loved spending time with her family above all else. She had an appreciation for nature, and enjoyed camping with her best friends, as well as just sitting and watching the wildlife. Dolores liked to listen to old country and gospel music and was a passionate Bingo player.

Dolores is survived by her husband, Dan; sons, Bryan (Amanda Dukas) Fleshman of Newark and Kevin (Taylor) Yarger of Lancaster; daughter, Carrie (Travis) Yarger Bradley of Lancaster; grandchildren, Austin, Stephanie, Bryanna, Marlene, Brentley, Laila, Devin, Collin, Chloe, Camdyn, and Tyler; eight great-grandchildren; brothers, Robert (Ruth) Ringhiser, Harold Ringhiser, and Dale Ringhiser; sisters, Evelyn Brady and Carol (Ed) Donham; several nieces and nephews, who lovingly referred to her as “Sis”; and her best friend of more than 50 years, Linda (Bob) Garey.

Dolores was preceded in death by her parents; brother, Roger Ringhiser; sister, Linda Bush; and nieces, Karen Brady and Julia Burnside.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 pm on Friday, May 16, 2025, at the Cardaras Funeral Home, 183 E. Second St., Logan, with Rev. Charles Fidler officiating. Interment will be in New Fairview Memorial Gardens, Rockbridge. Family and friends may visit from 5 to 7 pm Thursday and one hour prior to the service on Friday at the funeral home.
