Doris "Dukie" Jean Heiney

Doris Jean “Dukie” Heiney, 82, of McArthur, passed away Thursday, December 10, 2020, at Hamden Nursing and Rehabilitation.  She was born March 19, 1938, in Bridgeport, Ohio, daughter of the late Dallas Matthew and Marion Fleming Heiney.

Dukie is survived by her sister, Shirley Doherty of McArthur; nieces, Pam Gillman, and Diane Doherty, both of McArthur and nephews, Mike, and Kenny Doherty, both of New Marshfield.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Dallas Junior Heiney and nephews, Bill, Ed, and Greg Doherty.

A graveside service will be held 11 a.m., Friday, December 18, 2020, in Elk Cemetery, McArthur, with Pastor Carl Radcliff officiating.  No visitation will be held.

Arrangements are by Garrett-Cardaras Funeral Home, 201 W. High St., McArthur.
