Douglas "Doug" Mays

Douglas Edward “Doug” Mays, 59, of Columbus, Ohio passed away on Friday, October 11, 2024. He was born on September 16, 1965, in Nelsonville, Ohio, to the late Daniel P. and Dora (Forbes) Mays.

Doug was a 1983 graduate of Nelsonville-York High School. He was very active in his church community in Columbus.

Doug is survived by his brothers, Donald Phillip (Marybeth) Mays and Danny Dean Mays; and nieces and nephews, Myra McComb, Sara McComb, Cody McComb, Jeffrey Collison, and Derrick Mays.

Doug was preceded in death by his parents; sister, Deborah Sue McComb; and nephew, Jeremy Tigner-Mays.

Honoring Doug’s wishes, cremation will take place.
