It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved father, Edward Andrew Moleski, Jr., who departed this life peacefully on February 25, 2026, at the age of 88. Edward was born on December 16, 1937, in Glouster, Ohio, to Edward John Moleski, Sr. and Mary (Pallo) Moleski.

Edward was a proud USMC Veteran (Korea War) of IWAKUNI, Japan 1st Marine, Air Wing MABS-12 (1956-1959). He was awarded two Good Conduct Medals, was a motor vehicle operator, and expert sharpshooter. After returning home from the military he worked with his father on the family farm and in the family blacktopping business, as a truck driver, and later worked for Morris Excavating. He found joy in hunting for morel mushrooms, fishing, working on lawn mowers, spending time with his dogs, and going places with his family. He was a loving son, brother, father, husband, grandfather, and uncle. Over the years he shared many stories, advice, and warm hugs. He will be remembered and cherished by all who knew him.

Edward is survived by his two daughters, Teri (Louis) Barnes and Tamara Moleski; grandson, Dr. Travis Moleski; and numerous nieces and nephews. Edward is preceded in death by his wife, Gabriella (Skinner) Moleski; parents, Edward and Mary (Pallo) Moleski; and his four siblings, Mary Ann (Roger) Versteeg, Patricia (Jim) McHugh, Delores (Phillip) Neff, and David Moleski.

“You will always be in our heart … because in there, you’re still alive.”

A grave site memorial service will be held at a later date at Queen of Heaven Cemetery in Trimble, Ohio. The family requests in lieu of flowers that donations be made to the Wounded Warrior Project in Edward’s memory.
