Edward Wayne Searles, 72, passed away on Saturday, December 11, 2021, at Fairfield Medical Center, Lancaster. He was born February 28, 1949, in Logan, Ohio. He was brother to Lola Carmichael and brother-in-law and friend to James Carmichael, who survive.
He lived at Main Street Terrace Care Center in Lancaster and attended Fairfield Center for disAbilities for many years. Ed was a happy man and enjoyed loud, old time country music and always wore a cowboy shirt and cowboy hat.
He will be laid to rest at Asbury Cemetery, Nelsonville, beside his mother, Birdie Kesterson. No services will be held. Arrangements by Souers-Cardaras Funeral Home, 46 Fayette St., Nelsonville.
