G. Scott Williams

G. Scott Williams, 63, of Logan, passed away on Wednesday, May 13, 2026, at his residence with his wife of 35 years, Shelly, by his side. Scott was born July 24, 1962, in Delaware, Ohio to the late Harry Williams and Sherrie (Gatton) Williams.

Scott was known for writing and singing songs when he was not playing his guitar. He loved being outdoors fishing, hunting or riding his dirt bike, but most of all he enjoyed hanging out with his campground friends and his family.

Scott leaves behind his wife, Shelly; his son, Chase (Madeline) Williams; the apple of his eye his grandson, Beau Williams; and a brother, Tony (Dee) Williams of Augusta, Georgia. He was preceded in death by his parents.

Scott’s wishes were for cremation, and no services will be held at this time. Arrangements are with the Cardaras Funeral Home, 183 East Second Street Logan.
