Gerald Robert Seitz

Gerald Robert Seitz, 75, of McArthur, passed away Monday, April 11, 2022, at his residence.  He was born July 12, 1946, in Vinton County, Ohio, son of the late Robert E. and Norma Jean Jones Seitz.  Gerald was married to Nora Molihan Seitz, who survives.

He retired from Kenworth Trucking in Chillicothe, Ohio.

Gerald is survived by his sons, Gerald D. Seitz of Chillicothe and Duane A. (Kim) Seitz of Jackson; daughters, Myra (Chuck) Heitman of Semi Valley, California, Gerra Coleman of McArthur and Tanya Seith of McArthur; grandchildren, Allyson, Aaron, Shantell, Justin, Corey, Jeffrey, Kassy, Becky, Jesse, Josh, Ryan, Kyra, Neva, Nora and Darrin and several great grandchildren, including Kalyn Perry, who took care of him.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his daughter, Dana Seitz; grandchildren, Chassidy Barnett and Dakoda Sexton; brother, Jerry Seitz and sisters, Rita Ferris and Wanda Scurlock.

A funeral service will be held 12 p.m., Monday, April 18, 2022, in the Garrett-Cardaras Funeral Home, 201 W. High St., McArthur.  Cremation will follow the service.  Friends may call at the funeral home on Monday, from 10 a.m. until the time of the service.
