Gilbert "Gibby" A. Inboden

Gilbert “Gibby” A. Inboden, 55, of Logan, passed away Friday, May 5, 2023, at Hocking Valley Community Hospital in Logan. He was born October 29, 1967, in Logan, Ohio, son of the late James E. and Juanita Mount Inboden.

Gibby was a 1986 graduate of Logan High School and a 1993 graduate of Ohio University. Gibby was very smart, hilariously funny and witty, and generally an all-around good guy. He loved music, movies, TV, and comedy.  He was steeped in pop culture from an early age from growing up in front of the TV, more specifically, from watching David Letterman. Gibby enjoyed spending time with family, playing games, and attending concerts and comedy shows.

He is survived by his brothers, Rev. Gregory L. (Mindi) Inboden and Garen Inboden; sister, Gretchen Gonzalez and several nieces and nephews.

A funeral service will be held 7 p.m., Tuesday, May 16, 2023, in the Cardaras Funeral Home, 183 E. Second St., Logan, with Rev. Greg Inboden officiating. Visitation will be held from 5 p.m. until the time of the service at the funeral home.
