Harold C. Cosper

Harold C. Cosper, 96, of Logan, passed away Friday, October 23, 2026, at his residence. He was born April 2, 1930, in Wynona, Oklahoma, son of the late Dave C. and Ardith L. Grayum Cosper. Harold was married for 72 years to Jacqueline L. Waggoner Cosper, who survives.

He owned and operated Cosper Well Service, J and H Oil, U-Lock Mini Storage and was a partner in CJ Development Co. Harold was also a member of the Logan Church of The Nazarene.

Along with his wife, he is survived by his dog, Willie; sons, Wayne (Laura) Cosper of Logan and Tony Lee Cosper of Logan; grandchildren, Stephanie Lynn (Greg) Vermillion, Jackie Marie (Jeff) Phillips, Jess Wayne Cosper, Corey Lee (Karla) Cosper, Dave Brandon (Kahla) Cosper, Lyndsey Marie (Ryan) Smith and Kimberly Dawn (Zach) Conrad; several great and great great grandchildren and daughter-in-law, Natalie Cosper.

In addition to his parents, Harold was preceded in death by his son, Dave Bradley Cosper; daughter, Carmen Jo Birkner and brother, Donald R. Cosper.

A funeral service will be held 10 a.m., Friday, October 30, 2026, in the Cardaras Funeral Home, 183 E. Second St., Logan, with Pastor Thomas Gates II officiating. Interment will be in Oak Grove Cemetery, Logan. Visitation will be held on Thursday, from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. and 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. and one hour prior to his funeral on Friday.
