Harold Eugene Ringhiser

Harold Eugene Ringhiser, 69, of Lancaster, formerly of Chillicothe, passed away Tuesday, May 20, 2025, at the Pickering House in Lancaster. Harold was born on August 3, 1955, in Nelsonville, the son of the late Charles and Ellen (Shultz) Ringhiser.

Harold was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force. Harold lived at LG Serenity Care Home for over 20 years, which was owned and run by Lisa Burke. He loved it there and they all loved him like family, and he referred to them as his family all the time. Harold was also a passionate baseball fan, his favorite team being the Cincinnati Reds.

Harold is survived by his brothers, Robert (Judy) Ringhiser and Dale Ringhiser; sisters, Evelyn Brady and Carol (Ed) Donham; and several nieces and nephews.

Harold was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Roger Ringhiser; sisters, Linda Bush, Dolores Azbell on May 10, 2025; and nieces, Karen Brady and Julia Burnside.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 pm on Friday, May 30, 2025, at the Cardaras Funeral Home, 183 E. Second St., Logan. Interment will be in Shaw Cemetery, Logan. Family and friends may visit from 5 to 7 pm Thursday at the funeral home.
