Helen H. Leonard

Helen H. Leonard, age 98, a long time Logan, Ohio, resident, died on Monday, May 22, 2023, at Bishop Gadsden Episcopal Retirement Community in Charleston, SC.  She was a graduate of Logan High School and a member of the United Methodist Church.

She is survived by her two daughters, Beverly Reding of Pittsburgh, PA and Barbara Knepshield of Charleston, SC;  five grandchildren, Amy Andrews of Brookhaven, GA, Peter Reding of Fort Collins, CO, Chad Reding of Minneapolis, MN, Jared Jones of Columbus, OH and Jessica Montgomery of Noblesvville, IN; and seven great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Dr. Albert E. Leonard, a former Logan dentist, her parents Ruth C. and Merril B. Haney, a former Logan mayor, and her brother George Haney of Circleville, Ohio.

Private services will be held at a later date. Interment will be in Oak Grove Cemetery, Logan. Arrangements are by Cardaras Funeral Home, 183 E. Second St., Logan.
