Holly Johanna Woollet

Holly Johanna Woollet, 51, of McArthur, passed away Friday, June 5, 2026, at Maple Hills Skilled Nursing and Rehabilitation in McArthur. She was born on December 11, 1974, in Columbus of Ohio, daughter of Connie D. Hewitt Woollet and the late Billy J. Woollet.

Holly retired as the Activities Director from Maple Hills Nursing and Rehabilitation, where she dedicated many years to enriching the lives of others through her compassion and caring spirit. A private and humble woman, she preferred a quiet life away from the spotlight, finding her greatest happiness in the company of those she loved. She was a devoted daughter, cherished sister, and an exceptional aunt who took great pride in her family. Known for her wisdom, quick wit, and remarkable sense of humor, she could brighten any room and ensured there was never a dull moment when she was around. She enjoyed listening to 1980s music, spending time trap shooting with her father, and gathering around the card table for a spirited game of euchre. More than anything, she expressed her love through small but meaningful acts of kindness and care, leaving a lasting impression on everyone fortunate enough to know her.

Holly is survived by her siblings, Bart (Christa) Woollet of Canada, Amber (David) Lambert of McArthur, Derra (Chad Colley) Woollet of Zaleski, Brett Woollet of Gallipolis and Callie (Shawn) Swick of McArthur; nieces and nephews, Kimberly, Kelley, Jacey, Kyle, Shylaya, Abigayle, Weston, Zane, Bree, Ava, Zeke, Zacc, Kaiden, Kaisen and Kashton “Hunnies” along with several great nieces and nephews.

In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by her niece, Kasey and nephew, Beau.

Private services will be held at the convenience of the family. Arrangements are by Garrett-Cardaras Funeral Home, 201 W. High St., McArthur.

The family suggests memorial contributions be made in memory of Holly Woollet to the Vinton County Dog Pound, 31479 State Route 93, McArthur, Ohio 45651.
