Ivan "Nick" Hart

Ivan "Nick" Hart, 74, of Prince George, Virginia, passed away on Saturday, October 21, 2023.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Ray and Betty Hart; brother, Jerry Hart; and sisters, Barbara Riggs and Kathy Barnes.

Nick graduated from Logan High School and retired honorably after 21 years of service in the United States Army. Nick worked for VDOT for over 27 years. In his spare time, he enjoyed riding motorcycles and spending time with his family. He was a member of the Blue Knights, VFW, and the American Legion.

Nick was a devoted husband and father, and he will be greatly missed and remembered by all of his family. Nick is survived by his loving wife of 54 years, Diana Hart; sons, Charles "Kenny" Hart (Dawn) and Patrick "PJ" Hart (Andrea); grandchildren, Teagan Hart, Langley Hart, Abby Kline, and Chase Kline; great-grandson, Milo; and brother, Lou Hart.

A memorial service will be held at 3:00 pm on Saturday, December 30, 2023, at the Cardaras Funeral Home, 183 E. Second St., Logan, with Hocking County Sheriff Chaplain, Pastor Steve Hubbard officiating. Friends and family may visit from 2 to 3 pm Saturday at the funeral home.
